What is the role?

BNP Paribas Central Europe is seeking a dynamic individual to join our IT proximity team as an IT Support Services Specialist. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible to:

§   Provide IT proximity support within Central Europe region, especially for Bulgaria

§   Contribute to installation of LANs, WANs, internet and intranet systems, and network segments

§   Responsible for organizing, modifying and supporting the bank desktop applications used in the region

What are the main responsibilities?

§   Ensures that sufficient hardware is available and properly functional

§   Works closely with The CIB IT Platform for EMEA teams, and with local authorities/providers, especially in case of communication/connectivity issues

§   Workstation (Laptop, HVD) and other IT device setup, distribution and management, including inventory activities

§   Contributes to the local and central DR tests

§   Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues

§   Monitoring and management of local network infrastructure

§   Incident escalation and outsourced activities management/control

§   Configuration management including keeping exhaustive CI inventory and dependencies up-to-date

§   Ensures that IT infrastructure/ production system is adequately maintained and controlled

§   Follows the governance model – especially administering all activities in relevant ticketing system, and provides functional and/or technical support for all IT systems in use

What qualities do we look for?

§   At least 2 years of experience in Technical Support Role or similar

§   Windows OS Proficiency and troubleshooting

§   Familiar with O365 (Outlook, Onedrive, Teams)

§   Experience with iOS devices

§   Experience in remote administration tools

§   Basic CISCO knowledge – provide console access and take part in initial device configuration in close  collaboration with central Network teams

§   Basic Network knowledge – VPN/VLAN/iPSEC/NAT understanding.

What qualities do we look for?

§   At least 2 years of experience in Technical Support Role or similar

§   Windows OS Proficiency and troubleshooting

§   Familiar with O365 (Outlook, Onedrive, Teams)

§   Experience with iOS devices

§   Experience in remote administration tools

§   Basic CISCO knowledge – provide console access and take part in initial device configuration in close  collaboration with central Network teams

§   Basic Network knowledge – VPN/VLAN/iPSEC/NAT understanding.

§   Good organisational and prioritization skills

§   Good communication skills both written and verbal.

§   Ability to integrate multi-cultural aspects in communication with colleagues from other countries.

§   Fluent English and Bulgarian language both verbal and written.

Additional Advantages

§   Experience in the financial sector on similar position;

§   Familiar with Bulgaria specific regulatory and national applications (Borica, BNB portal – Finnet services);

§   Familiar with Trading application such as Refinitiv Reuter and FX Dealing;
